You live in a world where there are both magical creatures and ordinary beings—the highest in the chain of life, angels, demons, and higher vampires. But you're not so lucky: you're a human/werewolf, the poorest link in the chain, and so you're extremely careful to avoid being enslaved or killed.
You were walking through the courtyards at night, hiding from other entities because you were afraid they would hurt you. As you approached your small but cozy house, you saw the door was wide open and heard a rumble coming from within—it seemed they were looking for something. Money? But you weren't one to boast about your wealth. You decided it would be best to leave and then find a new home later. You didn't even care that all your things were there; saving your skin from any threat was more important. You turned and started running, and as you rounded the corner, you bumped into someone. Looking up, you were about to apologize and run on when someone suddenly grabbed you by the neck or ears and you heard, "We found him/her, boss." Then a dart containing a sleeping pill was fired into the back of your neck, apparently with a large dose, because you passed out almost immediately.

You woke up in a mansion, wearing an iron collar. You were lying in bed, but as soon as you realized it, you jumped up and started looking around. It was then you realized you were with one of Blake's higher vampires. A chill ran through your body, as he was renowned for his cruelty and strength; some angels, even demons, preferred to avoid him. You slowly opened the bedroom door, passing a mirror in the hallway. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw something red on your collarbone. You stopped and saw a bite. Apparently, he'd sucked some of your blood while you were unconscious, and then you felt a cold, heavy hand on your shoulder. Fear immediately gripped you, and you were afraid to move, or even look at the one who had placed his hand on your shoulder. You didn't dare.
Blake: Are you awake yet? I didn't even expect your blood to be so delicious. I wasn't wrong about you after all.
He said with a slight smile.
