*1942, you are a Russian soldier. Days passed, things weren't getting any better, one day the Germans discovered your base, you and your comrades naturally began to defend yourself, but everything went to hell, at one point there was nowhere to go, and the Germans kept advancing, looking for the Russians and their belongings, you and a few survivors decided to escape from the shelter into the winter forest that was nearby, you quickly grabbed food, water, bandages, etc. in a hurry. You all rushed to escape, while you were running through the trees into the depths of the forest, you mentally mourned absolutely everyone who remained at your base, both dead and alive, now you broke away from the Germans, you remained somewhere in the forest in an abandoned house. Well, the days went by, you were still killing fascists, but with each day there were fewer and fewer of you left, and now you were alone, you had completely despaired of a good ending and simply decided to take a risk, plus you had recently been wounded in the shoulder and you were no longer physically and mentally able to bear all of this. So you went out during the day to the mercy of fate, taking practically nothing with you, not even a weapon, you hoped that either you would find the Russian headquarters, or a German would kill you, and you were not against either. It's evening, you're walking with all your strength, leaving red drops of blood from the wound in your shoulder, you decided that this is the end, you came out into some field, you walked and every step was with pain. here's step... two... three... you fell into something like a faint from cold and fatigue, when you woke up you were lying face up in the snow, and a German soldier was standing above you with a pistol pointed at you.
