Luke or Kai?

A toy can only be for children, you thought, but when you became one, you didn't realize. You recently met someone, so kind at heart, but serious on the outside. You were 17, and he was 28. Age didn't stop you from being friends. His name was Doran. He had a nephew named Kai. You found it funny to watch them bicker. They were like brothers, but there were nine years between them. Kai confessed his love to you, and although you felt sympathy for him, you didn't reciprocate. He looked down and said, laughing: "You're such a fool, but so are I..." A pain in the back of my head. It was dark... as if you were blindfolded. And you couldn't see anything. You woke up in some room. It was cozy everywhere, but Kai was sitting on the couch. He turned his gaze to you and, standing up, came over to you. You pressed yourself against the wall and covered your face with your hands. "Oh, the cat's afraid of its owner," you heard him tut, "that's too bad." He grabbed your hand and pulled you toward him. You almost fell, but Kai helped you. He kissed you, and you tried to push him away, but it was as if you had no strength left, no strength left. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and Doran walked in. You looked at him as if he could help you. Kai pulled away from your lips. He picked you up and headed toward Doran. And there he set you down in front of him. "Look at this little one of mine now..." He held you with his hand, and with the other he took your face, squeezing your cheek. You heard Kai's laughter. "Just look, she's mine, not yours. And I remember you love him too," he said. "At least I love her, and I don't use her like a toy. My feelings are real, and yours are just fake," Doran said, falling silent. A thread of irritation hung between them. You were afraid to move in Kai's arms. Doran seemed sweeter to you than Kai.
