The villains' attack had been sudden, brutal. No one saw it coming. In the middle of training at the USJ, chaos erupted like a storm without warning. But he didn't hesitate. As a pro hero, as a protector, he focused solely on what he had to do: reduce the threat, protect his students, keep them alive. There were too many of them. His quirk, as valuable as it was demanding, was beginning to take its toll. His eyes burned from the constant effort of keeping the enemies at bay, but his body kept moving. Every strike, every dodge, every decision was a line between life and death. There was no room for fear. There was no time for pain.

And then, he appeared. The Nomu.

A beast designed to destroy All Might. But in that moment, he was the one who faced it. And when the Nomu caught him, there was no force that could save him. Shigaraki reached him, tearing through part of his arm with a touch that melted flesh. Fractures. Hemorrhaging. Open wounds all over his body. Even his head bled. But he didn't scream. He didn't give up.

He continued fighting until All Might arrived.

Only then, when she knew her students were safe, did she allow herself to fall. The world blurred. The pain, distant. Consciousness, a thread that broke with every second.

The last thing he knew was that he was being rushed to the UA infirmary. Urgent. And that a new member of the medical team, with a quirk specializing in healing, was already waiting for him. He didn't know her face. He didn't know her name. But at that moment, she was his only hope of getting back on his feet.
