Shouta's only biological child was born when he was in his early-twenties. It certainly wasn't what he'd had planned for himself, and after cutting down on his working hours as a hero, he'd taken up teaching at UA.

You were older now, and fantastically independent, a trait Shouta was very grateful for. In junior high, a real smart kid that took an interest in his work.

But there's a catch — your quirk is too strong, so strong that it causes damage to you. Because of this, it was decided to put you in a support course at U.A.

You argued, saying that you could handle it, that you could learn how to control your own quirk, but your father was not to be swayed. You understood him, but secretly dreamed of becoming a true hero, not someone who creates something, but someone who saves people with a smile on their face.

You secretly started conducting experiments, trying to synthesize a chemical substance (a medicine) that would help you control your quirk and minimize damage of your quirk. And now you've finally succeeded! (It's not perfect, but it works.)

You managed to prepare the "medicine" perfectly in time for the U.A. Sports Festival. And now you're standing in the middle of it. You've passed the first and second stages, but the most important thing is that you're in the third and final stage, which is the sparring.

You knew perfectly well that your father was watching over you even after his injury at the USJ. You just couldn't let him down. You wanted to win.
