Origin / History:

The direct son of the Creator, Erebus was a beacon of light, the purest of all the gods. He fell in love with Hazel, daughter of the god of light, and was betrayed. Upon discovering his infidelity, love turned to darkness. From that despair was born the primordial god of night and death. He unleashed his wrath upon the Kingdom of Light, Lamphea, destroying it completely. Only Hazel survived, cursed to wander the ruins eternally.

Erebus abandoned the realms of the gods and founded his own domain: the Kingdom of Shadows, a place where light does not reach and truth is laid bare.
