The group is led by Gwinam, that psychopathic delinquent who seems incapable of dying and turns the apocalypse into a personal playground of sadism. He's not just a bully—he's the kind of guy who gets pleasure from seeing others suffer.

Before the outbreak, they tormented the lives of the weaker students, such as the teacher's son (Jin-su) and Eunji herself. It was precisely these brutal humiliations that pushed the teacher to create the virus—that is, the origin of the entire apocalypse comes from the rottenness of these guys.

When zombies take over the school, most of the bullies are quickly swallowed up, which is a beautiful act of poetic justice. But Gwinam survives (because the universe loves to reward bad people) and becomes a "hambie"—half human, half zombie, like Namra, only completely consumed by violence. He begins to hunt Cheongsan like a predator, more interested in revenge than in surviving.

In short: bullies are a constant reminder that high school was already hell long before the dead rose. The virus just removed the filter of what people have always been.

Before the zombies appeared, she was already living through her own personal hell: she was a constant victim of severe bullying at school, and nobody did anything about it—neither teachers nor classmates.

When the virus begins to spread, her case reveals the most rotten side of the story: the virus's creator, Professor Lee Byeongchan, used his own son's suffering (and cases like Eunji's) as justification for creating the parasite that caused the outbreak. Essentially, she represents the human trigger for the entire tragedy.

Later on, Eunji survives the initial infection and is one of the few who escape the school. But when the army tries to interrogate her, she realizes that nobody cares about what happened, that everything she suffered means nothing to the system. The result is a bitter scene: she gives up on everything, and humanity itself seems useless in the face of general indifference.

She's neither a heroine nor a villain—she's a victim the whole world failed to save. And perhaps that's why All of Us Are Dead is so accurate: because it shows that the real monster sometimes doesn't even need to bite to destroy someone.

He's Onjo's childhood friend, completely in love with her, but stuck in that eternal friendzone where he's never had the courage to say anything—until the world ends, of course.

At first, he seems like just an ordinary kid trying to survive, but as the chaos grows, he becomes one of the bravest and most protective members of the group. He's quick, clever, and has the kind of courage that comes more from instinct than physical strength. You can see that he always puts others before himself, especially Onjo.

His rivalry with Gwinam (that psychopath who survives everything, even the apocalypse) is one of the most tense parts of the series. In the end, Cheongsan has one of the most memorable and sad moments—the kind of scene that makes you want to throw your phone against the wall and pretend you didn't see it.

In short: Cheongsan is the hero who never called himself a hero. He dies as he lived—trying to protect those he loves, even when he no longer needed to fight.

The daughter of a firefighter (which already explains half of her survival instinct), she starts out as an ordinary student, somewhat scared and lost amidst the chaos, but gradually reveals an absurd strength.

She's not the strongest or the smartest of the group, but she's the one who feels the most—and that's what makes her the heart of the story. While the others are going crazy, she tries to keep the group together and also cope with the loss of her friends, her father, and practically the entire civilized world.

There's also the emotional drama with Cheongsan, her best friend, who clearly likes her and is living that "I only realized I liked her when the apocalypse started" phase. Poor Onjo is slow to see what's right in front of her—literally.

In short: Onjo is proof that courage isn't about beating up zombies, it's about continuing to walk when everything has fallen apart. She's the soul of the group, even when she's broken inside.

Namra is the class representative in All of Us Are Dead, that goody-two-shoes, quiet, and somewhat distant girl that everyone thinks is cold—until the apocalypse shows that she is stronger and more complex than she seemed.

She's incredibly smart, thinks quickly, and tries to stay calm even when the world is turning into a walking graveyard. But the most interesting thing about her is what happens next: she ends up getting infected, but not completely. She becomes half human, half zombie—the famous "hambie." This duality becomes her biggest drama, because she constantly has to fight against the instinct to devour her friends, while still wanting to protect them.

In the midst of all this, there's Suhyeok, who believes in her and doesn't treat her like a monster. Their relationship is like that impossible, tense, and sad romance—just the way the apocalypse likes it.

Ultimately, Namra symbolizes what All of Us Are Dead does best: showing that sometimes, what remains of someone's humanity is precisely what hurts the most to hold onto.

Before the apocalypse, he was known for being a troublemaker and having a history of school violence, but he wasn't a complete jerk—just someone trying to survive in a messed-up environment.

When the school turns into a zombie-infested hell, Suhyeok shows that, behind his tough exterior, he's loyal, brave, and far more human than many of the "nice guys" in the series. He protects his friends at all times, especially Namra (with whom there's that chemistry that the apocalypse doesn't quite allow to develop).

In short: Suhyeok is the type of character who starts out seeming like just another delinquent, but ends up being the guy everyone wants by their side when the world ends. A survivor with a heart, even if it's hidden behind fists and bruises.

The main activities and challenges they faced included:
Avoiding being bitten: The main objective was to avoid infection, which required constant vigilance and escaping hordes of zombies.
Finding escape routes: With the school and the city taken over, they needed to plan and execute dangerous escapes through different parts of the building, such as classrooms, the roof, and even the ventilation ducts.
Seeking resources: They needed to find food, water, and items that could be used as improvised weapons to defend themselves.
Teamwork: Survival depended on cooperation. They had to overcome internal conflicts, rivalries, and differences to work together, protect each other, and make crucial decisions.
Dealing with loss and moral dilemmas: The series addresses themes such as friendship, sacrifice, and resilience, and the characters had to cope with the death of friends and colleagues, as well as make difficult decisions about who to help and who to trust.
Reaching a safe location: The ultimate goal was to reach a military checkpoint and be rescued, outside the quarantine zone.

The zombie outbreak in the series (likely referring to "All of Us Are Dead," or AOUAD) was caused by the creation of an experimental virus known as the "Jonas Virus."
The virus was developed by Hyosan High School science teacher Lee Byeong-chan, driven by a tragic personal motivation:
The Motivation: The teacher's son was suffering from severe and constant bullying at school, and the school authorities and the police took no serious action to resolve the problem.
The Creation: Feeling powerless and dissatisfied with the injustice of the system, Byeong-chan created the virus in his laboratory in an attempt to eradicate the feeling of fear from human psychology, allowing his son to fight back against aggressors.
The Disastrous Outcome: However, the experiment failed, and instead of making his son fearless, the virus turned him into a zombie. The main characteristics of hambies are:

Human Intelligence: Unlike common zombies, which completely lose consciousness and act on instinct, these "hambies" retain their human intelligence and memory.

Enhanced Abilities: They possess the enhanced strength, agility, and hearing of zombies, giving them physical advantages over normal humans.

Partial Hunger Control: Although they feel an intense hunger for human flesh, they are able, to some extent, to control their impulses and not immediately attack other humans, at least for a while.

Immunity: They are immune to complete transformation into mindless zombies and, in some cases, may even be undetectable by ordinary zombies.
