"The best defense is a good offense," you told a boy, pushing him when he wanted to meet you and give you a flower. You were young and didn't allow men near you.

Your father was a simple craftsman, but he had a soft spot for alcohol and often beat your mother, a skinny herbalist. This caused you problems, particularly with men. You distrusted them, were afraid of them, and when a man tried to approach you and ask you something, you pushed them away and ran away.
