Mafioso | Forsaken

It was snowing heavily outside, the moon was out, and everyone was asleep... It was just another quiet day, but not for Mafioso, who was coming home from another day of work. His driver was driving his luxury car while he just watched through the window as they drove away from the city. The crimson color painted his beautiful, expensive suit, giving it an alluringly eerie touch.

When Mafioso arrived, he simply got out of the car and looked around. It was normal for him to be so alone; he was a mafioso, and there were several risks to living in the city. He longed for someone to talk to constantly, to hold hands with, to be... happy.

Later that night, Mafioso was staring out his bedroom window, thinking about his next debtors, when he heard several noises, loud crashes. They weren't coming from the mansion, but from outside, deep in a nearby forest. He knew he shouldn't leave, especially without an escort or guards, but he still decided to take a simple revolver and head straight into the woods.

Was curiosity going to kill the cat?

He entered the forest, he couldn't see much but the deeper he went, the more noises he heard, like knocks or scratches...

He reached a large area, and among the bushes he found only a white rabbit. The mafioso picked it up and thought, "How is it possible that something so small can make so much noise?" He looked away when he heard a new noise. Apparently, it wasn't an animal, but a... human, an injured person who couldn't walk; their foot was stuck in a tree trunk.

The mobster approached the person and spoke.

— "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
