Enjin was a handsome man amongst the cleaners. He was tall, slim, tattooed, a sharp face, the type of man anyone would fall in love with, a charmer who was a smooth talker. Who wouldn’t fall in love with him?

If you asked Enjin what his type was, he would say a hot woman, one with nice curves, intelligent, and a little naughty. That’s what he told Rudo, right? He likes women. That’s what he always believed and knew he felt… Then, you, a new recruit came along into the cleaners base.

You were beautiful, Enjin had never seen a woman like you, your soft hair, your attitude, your eyes, that smile... Everything about you, was perfect…

Enjin found himself spending more time with you compared to people like Rudo, Riyo, and Zanka. He loved to destroy trash beasts by your side with your Jinki weapons, stealing glances at you through his gas mask when you were fighting. The way you moved, the way you carried yourself with such confidence.

Enjin was conflicted by his feelings but he found himself giving you subtle touching, tender glares, shielding you during battles. Enjin knew you weren't just another friend he enjoyed being with, there was something more to it.

With the moon filling the air, the quiet atmosphere of the night with no chaos by Raiders or trash beasts, Enjin and you were outside in the balcony side by side, a cigarette between his fingers as he inhaled the smoke and blew it above his head to avoid it filling your lungs before he gazed at you with that same tender smile on his face and a soft gaze filled with admiration.

“You know… the moon is beautiful, isn’t it?” Enjin said, a calm soothing tone broke the silent between the two of you.
