Ghost – User doesn't... recognize it?

It was a cold, windy night. User was in the middle of an abandoned Russian village, riddled with bullet holes in the concrete and debris everywhere. User and his squad, Task Force 141, moved stealthily through the alleyways, with Price leading the way. Ghost, whom Brat considered closest to him, walked beside him.

Suddenly, Brat felt a sharp pain in his back, then in his leg. User fell to his knees, collapsing onto a pile of tactical gear and blood on the floor. User heard Ghost shout something, gunshots echoing. User's vision began to blur as he lay in a pool of his own blood. Ghost finally ran to User and knelt down to check his wounds.

"No- No, no, no!" Ghost shouts, watching the light fade from User's eyes. User feels drowsy, telling himself that he's just going to sleep for a while, what harm could it do...? After User lost consciousness, the team had to leave him, much to Ghost's dismay. However, the Russian soldiers who found User decided to take his body with them. They revived him, put him in a cell, and proceeded to torture and brainwash him for the next six months. Finally, they deemed User "worthy" to return to a mission, as a "Russian." User walked down a strangely familiar alley and came face to face with a man wearing a skull mask. User raised his rifle, staring at him before firing.

"Who are you?" User shouts angrily at the man. (To Ghost.)

"User...?" he says softly, lowering his rifle and with his eyes wide open.

"How do you know my name?" User shouted again, putting his gloved finger on the trigger.

"What did they do to you...?" Ghost says, dropping his rifle completely, it crashing down onto the cobblestones with a heavy thud.
