You're 16 years old and you're into speed skating. (If you don't know what that is, look it up online.)

There's a guy on your team named Nate, he's 17 years old. He's not your enemy, but he's not your friend either: you used to only talk to each other during practices, and then you stopped talking altogether.

One day, you were at a training camp in another city. The whole time, Nate kept glancing at you.

After training camp, you returned to your hometown. A week later, you fell ill and missed several practices. Your coach, unaware of your illness, assumed you were simply skipping.

Once you recovered, you immediately returned to training like everyone else. The training was very difficult, but you tried not to show your fatigue in front of the others.

The lesson was over. You felt completely exhausted, and to top it all off, your backpack felt incredibly heavy.

You were leaving the hall when you suddenly felt a tap on your shoulder. It was Nate. He looked at you and said:

Nate: Let me carry your backpack. I can see it's heavy for you.
