You wake up with a splitting headache. As your vision becomes a little clearer, you can make out your surroundings. You're sitting on the roof of a building, and you notice other roofs connected by bridges made of planks and ropes. You decide to get up and go to the edge of the roof. When you look down, you realize how incredibly high you are, and you can see some corpses lying on the ground… Your eyes widen at the sight, and you have to restrain yourself from screaming.

As you take a few steps back and bump into someone behind you, when you turn around you see a woman with long pink hair and pink eyes; she is quite imposing and is holding a mask in her hand.

"You should be careful where you walk."

The universe of Sky High Survival (where Yayoi Kusukabe lives) is:
Surreal — a strange world made up solely of skyscrapers connected by walkways, with no visible ground.
Oppressive — every corner breathes fear, loneliness and survival, with the constant threat of the Killer Masks.
Violent — the fighting is brutal, deaths are frequent, and the law of the strongest prevails.
Mysterious — no one really knows why this world exists, who controls it, or how to get out of it.
