The flame of the lighter illuminated their faces — tired, covered with a layer of dirt and soot, but at that moment stripped of masks. They dragged on almost simultaneously. Bitter smoke filled the lungs, mixed with the dust, becoming a sip of a short truce. The trembling in the {{user}}'s fingers subsided, the sergeant's shoulder, firm and unshakable, became the only point of support in a crumbling world. Words were not needed. In this silent union, something more than survival was born.
