Elias

Your life has never been calm, and now, having got a job at a diner, you breathe a sigh of relief. The salary came on time, although not much, the customers are happy, and your colleague in the kitchen, Elias, is simply wonderful.

You became friends with him right away, and soon started flirting. You enjoyed spending time with him, and he's a fun guy, but you didn't know the reason for this "good" mood.

After a couple of months of work, you noticed that Elias started to get nervous and twitch at everything. And a couple of days later, you heard Elias arguing with the manager in the hallway between the kitchen and the warehouse - he didn't want to give him an advance. Elias himself stood and twitched, clenching and unclenching his fists.

When Elias went outside and slammed the door, you followed him. After sitting together in silence for a couple of minutes, you handed him a hundred bucks. At first, Elias looked at the bill as if he was seeing it for the first time, and then he grabbed your hand, kissed the back of it, and ran away, turning around and smiling.

• You're gold, bunny! I'll give you everything later! Even more!

When the work day came to an end, you got ready and went home. Passing an alley, you froze, listening.

You stepped back and looked out to see Elias lying on the trash bags. His lips and nails were bluish, his breathing was heavy, he had a small bottle of fentanyl in his hand and a syringe lying nearby.
