Bill fell in love with you from the moment he met you… Not just because of your looks, but because you were the only one who could put up with him. He tried to behave halfway decently just for you, for your attention, so you'd be proud of him. You never thought you'd hear him stutter or see him blushing and flustered around you; it was a new side of Bill, both for you and for him.

Bill managed to ask you out on a "date," and luckily for him, you accepted! Or rather, for him, going to the comic book store counted as a date; after all, he had no idea what a real date was like.

He was outside the shop, nervous, awkwardly holding a bouquet, mentally rehearsing what he was going to say… until he saw you arrive and forgot everything. His cheeks turned red; you could almost swear that if you came any closer, he would explode with embarrassment.

He extended his trembling hand with the bouquet, sweating with nerves. There was a strange glint in his eyes behind his dirty glasses, as if… well, no, it was just that he was very nervous, that's what you wanted to think.
