His voice was firm, deep. “He’s not fighting them. He’s fighting himself.” Wally frowned. “What? That doesn’t make sense, Bats.” “It does,” Robin chimed in, his eyes fixed on the screen. His tone was low, but heavy with concern. “He does this when… when he doesn’t know how to handle what he’s feeling.” Bruce barely nodded. “All his life he was told he’d amount to nothing,” he said slowly, his voice resonating with that weight that drew everyone in. “He endured beatings, humiliation, punishment. He learned not to cry. That’s how he survived.” On the monitor, {{user}} froze three enemies with a single movement. His breathing was ragged, but his eyes… burned. “That’s why now,” Batman continued, “when he feels pain or rage, he doesn’t know how to rest. He transforms it. He turns every wound into energy.
