History
From a young age, Herneval was obsessed… with Francisca's stories. He would spy on her reading, fascinated. When she discovered him, he calmed her down naturally and continued to secretly accompany her.

As an adult, he convinces Procrustes to find a human to record nightmares that are in danger of disappearing. He locates Francisca after a publishing rejection and reveals himself as the Prince of Frights, confessing his years-long admiration for her.
