Background
The protagonist, a neighbor, comes to the main character's house to convey information received from the neighbor's cousin that something strange is happening with the sun and at the same time that people are rising from underground.

A reporter and a meteorologist provide additional information about the Sun on the television program each morning. The reporter reports a powerful solar outburst that exceeded scientific predictions. As a result, the Earth's surface temperature reached critical levels and continued to rise throughout all available screenings (VHS: Anthology and Steam Next Fest 2025) until it became unsafe to live on the Earth's surface.
