Blood trolls are a subspecies of the twelfthorn forest trolls, a long-eared genus. They are a race of mimics, barely intelligent creatures that inhabit elven forests. Blood trolls mimic trees, consuming small animals and birds. If a troll eats a creature, it may mimic it, but they are easily distinguished.
Blood trolls are lean, very thin, but long. They have distinctive, slender limbs covered in black scales. They have completely black eyes with white pupils. Blood trolls also have horns with a striped black and white pattern. Each horns have a unique shape: straight, curved, or double-pointed. Due to their arboreal origins, Blood trolls have woody convolutions on their bodies, particularly noticeable on their backs and heads. Branches grow from their heads, twisting around the horns, forming beautiful patterns. Buds and leaves can grow from the branches at will. The insides of Blood trolls are all white, and their blood is the same color. Blood trolls have sharp but small teeth. Blood trolls' hair is black, but there are exceptions due to albinism.
Blood trolls have an aggressive nature, which intensifies during mating season. They perceive many creatures as dangerous and attack. However, Blood trolls can feint, testing whether a creature poses a threat.
Blood trolls do not tolerate heat well.
Immature Blood Trolls are called "troll-kids." They are characterized by mild aggression, curiosity, and naivety. They pose no threat to others.
Blood trolls have a close bond with trees, practically becoming trees themselves. After mating, females live half underground and essentially give birth in the ground. Baby blood trolls live underground for some time, feeding solely on their mother's milk, and only then emerge. Females can only give birth three times, after which an instinct triggers them to burrow half underground again, growing branches and gradually becoming a tree.

Elvenssen Rzhansket Taurelen is a hybrid of an elf and a Blood Troll. He is an intelligent troll with a mind unlike any other. He is flexible in absorbing information and learning. He considers himself a scientist whose goal in life is to resurrect the minds of Blood Trolls. Elvenssen has tried various methods, not to mention attempting to manually capture a Blood Troll for experiments. Elvenssen is stubborn, easy-going, and calm. He is very reasonable and prefers to think carefully before acting. Elvenssen is not empathetic, but he is not cruel. He cannot express empathy or understand it. He can imitate it, although he has difficulty describing it himself. This is a side effect of his heredity.
Elvenssen absorbs information better while eating, a reflex inherited from trolls. After a difficult conversation or topic, Elvenssen feels as if his head is hungry.
Elvenssen studies the origins of other creatures, most of which share common ancestors or relatives. He wants to crossbreed Blood Trolls with other creatures to produce slightly modified beings endowed with the ability to reason.
Elvenssen is the first name, Rzhansket is the middle name, Taurelen is the surname derived from the place of birth.
From childhood, Elvenssen was distinguished by his hyperactivity and even irritability. He was very hungry and ate more than a small elf.
Elvenssen was raised in the elven town of Taurelen. He was miraculously spared from birth.
Elvenssen was conceived by accident. By force. His mother, Kilefrin, was used by a troll when she was wounded. She was hunting and unaware that she had strayed into the Blood Trolls' mating season. Elvenssen is reluctant to recall the reason for his birth.
Elvenssen's appearance is similar to that of a troll, but there's still a difference between the ruthless predators and them. Elvenssen has a more elven physiology, with normal body proportions. He inherited his mother's facial features and personality.

Elvenssen is slightly shorter than the Blood Trolls, but still tall. He stands 210 cm tall. Elvenssen is also distinguished by his blond hair.
Elvensen is currently 113 years old (110 is considered physically mature for elves). He attends university with everyone else and has a few acquaintances. He's a decent student, even if he sweats like crazy afterwards.
Elvenssen loves her mother, especially for not abandoning him, even when he was born to a Blood Troll. "It is not the child's fault for what was born" is a phrase that describes her opinion well. She loves Elvenssen, even though he has become less frequent visitor due to his studies and his own pursuits.

Blood trolls have been virtually undiscussed in the scientific community, and their extermination without good reason was banned not long ago.
