Inarizaki High School is a fictional high school in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan

Kita has a very blunt way of speaking, similar to Ushijima, where he doesn't mince words when expressing his opinions or thoughts. Because of this, his teammates often fear being on the receiving end of Kita's cold logic. Despite his demeanor, he cares deeply for his teammates, as seen when Atsumu catches a cold and Kita tells him to go home and rest, later scolding Ginjima for praising Atsumu for neglecting his health by continuing to practice. Afterward, Kita gives Atsumu food and drinks from a convenience store, with a note advising him to eat well and get plenty of sleep because of his cold.

Off the court, Kita does what needs to be done, relying heavily on his abilities. Not the "I'm the best" kind of confidence, but the kind where he has faith he'll never make a mistake. Kita has said he doesn't feel nervous because it's unnecessary for something you do regularly, which includes volleyball. Despite his stern manner of speaking and bland expression, the moment he received the captain's uniform, he started crying, which surprised Suna, who thought the boy was more of a "robotic" type.

Kita has a very mature way of thinking, since she says that she tends to agree more with adults than with her classmates, even having a logical reason to feel happy.

Osamu appears to be the quieter of the Miya twins, with a relaxed and impassive personality. Despite his appearance, Osamu is very competitive and easily angered, though he doesn't show it. However, if provoked enough, he becomes enraged and violent. In this state, he loses control and starts swearing. So far, his brother is the only person who has managed to make him react this way.

Osamu also demonstrates a great passion for food. He often thinks about it during matches and is easily distracted by its aroma. He seems unable to choose a favorite food and wouldn't know what to eat for his last meal. Like his brother, he loses self-control when it comes to eating. In his second year of high school, he decided to quit volleyball to pursue a career in the food industry, which eventually led him to found Onigiri Miya.

During his childhood, Osamu came across as the more approachable twin, as the others got along better with him. Even in elementary school, Osamu was very observant: he noticed how his classmates disliked Atsumu's demanding nature and how his brother enjoyed volleyball more than he did, seemingly unconcerned with others' opinions. At the same time, he seemed somewhat annoyed that others didn't like Atsumu, and he feared they would think the same of him, which motivated him to be the kinder twin.

He has shown to have a sense of humor, especially with regard to Atsumu, whom Osamu teases every time he makes a mistake.

Setter/Setter at Inarizaki High School. Atsumu is a young man of average height and a fairly robust build. He stands out for his distinctive hairstyle, which is dyed blond with his bangs falling slightly to his right side (unlike his brother Osamu's). The sides and back of his neck are shaved, revealing what appears to be his natural black hair color. He usually has a serene expression, influenced by his large, slightly droopy eyes. Atsumu is one of those young people who go about their business with a serene and carefree, yet self-assured, demeanor. His lazy smile often deceives people, whom he enjoys teasing and showering with impromptu compliments. He can be quite arrogant, condescending, and even selfish at times. His younger brother has described him as someone who doesn't listen to other people's opinions, never returns borrowed items, and is a liar.

During his childhood, Osamu had black hair. Later, in middle school, he dyed it gray. Unlike his twin brother, Atsumu, Osamu wears his bangs swept to the left. He has gray eyes with droopy eyelids.

Upon entering high school, Osamu developed a more muscular physique and grew to be six feet tall. He is usually seen with a neutral expression, but shows enthusiasm during games or annoyance when his brother suggests trying something new.

Kanji: 角名倫太郎 Rōmanji: Suna Rintarō Gender: Male Sign: Aquarium Birthday: January 25, 1995 Age: 16 Height: 185.7 cm Weight: 73.2 kg Family: Unnamed younger sister Occupation: High School Student (2nd year, class 1) Equipment: Inarizaki High School Number 10 Position: Central locking Rintarō Suna (角名すな倫太郎りんたろう Suna Rintarō) is a second-year student at Inarizaki High School and one of the middle blockers on the school's volleyball team. Suna has dark brown, loosely styled hair with a few strands sticking up on top of his head and a half-parted fringe. He has narrow, grayish-yellow eyes and thin eyebrows. He is often seen with a blank expression. Suna appears to be an expressionless and quiet person. He tends to relax when his team has a large lead and seems to be winning the game. He is more expressive with his thoughts, wishing he could find a reason to tease Kita or make new sarcastic remarks about Tsukishima and Tanaka. He is also quite analytical, as he can manipulate opposing blockers and realize that Tsukishima was bothering him to shoot around his block.

Kanji: 小作裕渡 Rōmaji: Kosaku Yuto Gender: Male Age: 16-17 (2013) Height: 181 centimeters (5 feet 11 inches) Occupation: High school student (2nd year) Teams: Inarizaki Institute Number: 13 (Second year of secondary school) Position: Wing Spiker Pinch Server Yūto Kosaku (Japanese: 小作, Kosaku Yūto) is a second-year student at Inarizaki High School. He plays as an outside hitter on the volleyball team. Kosaku has short, brown hair, bushy eyebrows, and gray eyes. Although taller than the average Japanese high school student, he is quite short compared to his teammates. Not much is known about Kosaku's personality, but he seems like a friendly yet competitive teammate, as he cheered on Riseki during her serve.

Kanji: 大耳練 Rōmaji: Ōmimi Ren Gender: Male Birthdate: February 17, 1995 Age: 17 Height: 191.5 cm (6' 3.4") Weight: 80.5 kg (177.5 lbs) Occupation: High school student (3rd year, Class 7) Teams: Inarizaki Institute Number: 2 Position: Central locking Ren Ōmimi (Japanese: Ōmimi Ren) 大耳みみみみ練 third-year student at Inarizaki High School. Ōmimi is one of the tallest characters in the series. He stands at 191 cm, has slanted eyes, long, thin eyebrows, and a somewhat menacing appearance; Hinata calls him "the scary guy." He has short, dark, neatly styled hair with his bangs swept to the right. According to Hinata, his appearance commands respect. However, he seems to have a rather gentle personality. Furthermore, he is usually very respectful. Ōmimi also appears to be very observant, as demonstrated by his knowledge of Kita's cleansing ritual.

Kanji: 理石平介 Rōmaji: Heisuke Riseki Gender: Male Birthdate: March 13, 1997 Age: 15 Height: 185.2 cm (6' 0.9") Weight: 71.5 kg (157.6 lbs) Occupation: High school student Teams: Number: 7 Position: Wing Spiker Pinch Server Heisuke Riseki (Japanese: Riseki Heisuke)理石りせき平介へいすけ first-year student at Inarizaki High School. Riseki has an athletic build and is 185 cm tall. He has short, dark hair and usually wears a serious expression. He has long, dark eyebrows and large gray or hazel eyes.

After the time skip, Riseki looks virtually the same, but now has shorter hair. Riseki is a rational and respectful person. He tends to overthink things, as his captain, Kita, points out. He's a skilled player who attended prestigious schools in both middle and high school; however, he was never good enough to make the starting lineup. During his middle school years, he only played once as a substitute, and he missed his serve. He deeply regrets this, so one could say he has a pessimistic mindset.

Kanji: 赤木路成 Rōmanji: Akagi Michinari Gender: Male Sign: Aries Birthday: April 12 Age: 18 Height: 174.2 cm Weight: 70.8 kg (156.1 lbs) Occupation: Student Equipment: Inarizaki Number: 15 Position: Libero Michinari Akagi 「西谷夕, Akagi Michinari?」 is a third-year student at Inarizaki High School. He appears to have dark, spiky hair, with a sort of fringe swept to the right. On the other hand, he also seems to have cat-like features, similar to Tendō's. Not much is known about Akagi. He's in Class 6, which implies he's very intelligent and diligent in his academic studies. He's also seen cheering on his teammates during the game, which suggests Akagi has a friendly personality.

Kanji: 銀島結 Rōmanji: Ginjima Hitoshi Sobriquet: Gin (by kita) Gender: Male Sign: Leo Birthday: August 21, 1995 Age: 17 years old Height: 180.3 cm Weight: 72.7 kg Occupation: High school student (2nd year) Equipment: Inarizaki High School Number: 5 Position: Receiving Point Hitoshi Ginjima (銀 島ぎ ん じ ま 結ひ と し Ginjima Hitoshi) is a second-year student at Inarizaki High School and one of the attackers on the volleyball team. Ginjima is a tall player, standing at 1.80m, with spiky silver hair (though in the anime it's a volcanic silver color). He has small eyebrows that are usually furrowed. His hands are also noticeably larger than usual.

Ginjima is originally described as someone with a strong sense of responsibility, but a strong personality that often leads him to make rash decisions. However, in reality—like all high school boys—he also has a childish side (like Atsumu).

Gender: Male Sign: Aries Birthday: April 4, 1994 Age: 18 Height: 184.7 cm Weight: 80.2 kg Occupation: High school student (3rd year, class 5) Equipment: Inarizaki High School Number: 4 Position: Receiving Point Aran Ojiro (尾白おじろアラン Ojiro Aran) is a third-year student at Inarizaki High School and one of the attackers on the volleyball team. Aran has thick, neatly trimmed, dark brown eyebrows. He is quite tall and has a muscular, athletic build. His eyes are almond-shaped with fox-like pupils; in the manga, his eyes are golden/brown, and in the anime, they are grayish-green. Aran is portrayed as a mature third-year student. He's in class five, so it can be assumed he's quite intelligent. At times, he seems rather discouraged by the rude and unpleasant behavior of the Miya twins, but aside from that, he's shown to have a strong connection with all of his teammates.
