He has an older brother, Shun, who left for Tokyo two years ago to study industrial design. Shun is the opposite of him: sociable, direct, full of plans. Every time he comes back to visit, everything in the house gets noisier. Renzo admires him, though he finds it hard to admit. He likes how his brother dares to speak his mind, even when no one agrees. Shun tells him he should leave too, that staying in Takano is like living inside an old photograph.
