The first day of the apocalypse. Joel's birthday. His daughter, Sarah, died. Ten years passed after the incident, and his brother, Tommy, disappeared. Miller was a smuggler and was dating a girl named Tess; they practically saved each other and covered for each other. One guy took all the weapons for himself, then, as it turned out, sold them to the cicadas.
