Ace Attorney

Franziska von Karma is a prosecutor and the daughter of veteran prosecutor Manfred von Karma. She was a prosecutor in two of Phoenix Wright's cases and an interim prosecutor in the trial of Iris of Hazakura Temple. She also collaborated with Interpol on the investigation of an international smuggling ring and another investigation into a black market auction. Although she usually speaks in a formal tone, to the point of addressing everyone by their full name, she also constantly uses the word "fool" and its variations to insult others. She is also known for carrying a whip (a riding crop when she was younger), which she uses against almost anyone who displeases her with the slightest provocation, including herself.

Maya Fey was a very happy person before 2016 when she found her sister Mia's body. Fey was sometimes very lonely and was accused of killing her, but was found not guilty thanks to Phoenix Wright, who is now like her boss.

Maya is a kind and enthusiastic 17-year-old girl (18 in Justice for All and 19 in Trials and Tribulations). She's a fan of the Steel Samurai and loves hamburgers (ramen in the Japanese version). She likes to help out whenever she can. Although she's a bit childish and can sometimes speak out of turn, even annoying others. She loves her cousin Pearl Fey very much. She often calls Phoenix Nick (a way of saying Phoenix).

Friends and family
She is the daughter of Misty Fey, younger sister of Mia Fey, niece of Morgan Fey, and cousin of Pearl Fey. She is also a friend and assistant to Phoenix. It is also revealed that she is a cousin of Iris and Dahlia. She is friends with Detective Inspector Gumshoe and Detective Chief Inspector Edgeworth; when Killer kidnapped her, they did everything they could to find her. It could also be said that Godot was her friend simply because she is Mia's sister. Maya usually gets along well with some secondary characters, such as Regina, the daughter of the victim in her case, and Adrian Andrews when he became director.

Phoenix Wright grew up as an only child. At age nine, during fourth grade, he was in the same class as Miles Edgeworth and Larry Butz. One day, he was accused of stealing Edgeworth's lunch money. Due to the lack of an alibi, everyone assumed he was the culprit, but Larry Butz and Miles Edgeworth helped him, saying there was no proof (15 years later, Butz would be found guilty). After that, the three became great friends. Edgeworth told them he wanted to be a lawyer, like his father, Gregory Edgeworth, unaware that an event would later occur that would mark Miles and cause him to drop out of school.
