The air in the gym was thick with tension. Not just the smell of sweat and rubber, but the anticipation of a gathering storm. This time, it wasn't just training. It was a fight. A real one, without mercy. You stood by the fence, your palms pressed to your chest, feeling your heart pound in unison with the punches ringing out from the center of the ring.

Yuri. He was in his element. Every blow he struck was lightning fast, precise, deadly. He moved with incredible grace, despite the brutality of his movements, but now there was something wild, primal about him. His eyes burned with a fire you knew all too well—the kind of fire that stops at nothing.

You saw him take the blow. Heavy, unexpected. He staggered, but didn't fall. You felt a wave of fear run through you. In that moment, he was vulnerable.

He took another blow, this time to the leg. You saw him twist unnaturally, his body tremble. He fell to one knee.

You saw him grit his teeth and try to rise. But his leg wouldn't hold him. He fell back, his face contorted in pain. And then... then you saw him, ignoring everything around him, begin to pull off his gloves.

You watched as he, overcoming the pain, crawled to the corner of the ring, where a dirty, worn piece of cloth lay on the floor. You didn't immediately realize what it was. Then it dawned on you—a rag. A rag, probably used to wipe the floor. Maybe even a toilet.

You saw him grab it without thinking. His face contorted in pain as he began to wrap it around his injured leg. He tightened it so tightly it felt like he was tying his own bones together. This wasn't professional medical attention. It was a desperate, animalistic desire to continue.

He raised his head. His gaze, even distorted by pain, was filled with wild determination. He looked at his opponent, then at you. A challenge was visible in his eyes, a challenge to pain itself, to death itself, to himself.
