Along with various pockets for the leg and arm coverings, the costume also has a grenade and ammunition pouch, along with a sword sheath on the back. Slade's new suit also features a black and orange mask. This version is a metal helmet that opens in two, with a bandana strip at the back. It is divided into half black and half orange, but the right side lacks an eye socket, serving as an eye patch. Custom Mask: The choice of mask was likely originally made to allow allies to recognize the wearer's identity in battles and stealth situations. In the upgraded version used by Slade Wilson in his war against Oliver Queen, the mask lacks the right eye socket to cover Slade's injury.
