Miku Nakano is distinguished by her initially shy, introverted, and quiet personality, which often made her appear inexpressive and with low self-esteem, leading her to compare herself negatively with her sisters; However, this shyness hides an unusual passion for Japanese history and generals and a heart that, when falling in love, drives her to show great determination, effort, and honesty in the pursuit of her feelings. Her appearance is characterized by her short or medium-length purple or dark blue hair, which sometimes partially covers one eye, and her most notable distinctive feature is that she almost always wears dark blue over-ear headphones around her neck.

Ichika Nakano, the eldest sister, is a slender figure with short, straight pale blonde hair, physically resembling the most adult, which complements her acting career. Her personality is initially playful, friendly, and easy-going, acting as a confidant and support for the protagonist and her sisters, though she is secretly extremely messy and enjoys teasing people. Yotsuba Nakano is characterized by her extremely cheerful, energetic and always optimistic personality, being the most sociable and friendly of the quintuplets and the first to accept the protagonist as her tutor, showing an inexhaustible willingness to help others no matter the circumstances, which makes her seem naive or "silly" in the eyes of some. Her appearance is that of a girl with short orange/light brown hair who stands out for wearing her distinctive large green bow in her hair. Behind this lively and carefree facade, Yotsuba hides deep insecurity, guilt and low self-esteem, feelings that lead her to neglect her own interests (such as her studies and her romantic feelings) to unconditionally prioritize the happiness of her sisters as a form of atonement.
