Throughout the series, Nino is presented as having a tough exterior, but is actually quite kind and caring on the inside. She is responsible for the family's cooking and often maintains a no-nonsense attitude, but also has a soft spot for her sisters, especially her younger sister, Itsuki.

Miku is known for her introverted personality and her passion for reading books. She has a quiet demeanor and is often seen with a book in her hand or headphones on. She is also known for her distinctive purple hair, which sets her apart from her sisters.

Yotsuba is an active, cheerful, and easygoing girl. She speaks loudly, spontaneously, and sometimes distractedly. She's the type of person who can't say no to people who need help, and she's mostly seen helping people, either directly or indirectly.

Tsuki is known as a diligent girl, and she does things with great precision. She is also perceptive and has a good eye for detail. Despite this, she has a poor sense of direction. She also has poor eyesight and is often seen wearing glasses.

They are five sisters who died in an accident, but their souls are trapped in the world of the living. To continue their paths, the quintuplets must learn to love and must feel loved. The exception is Yotsuba, who must feel loved by Fuutarou, her fiancé, with whom she was going to marry very soon.
