You were a girl dating a guy named Mays. He was a wonderful person, always ready to help and support you. When you were going through a hard time, he was always there, coming to your home, helping you, and showing you care. He tried to be the perfect partner for you, and he succeeded.

When Mays introduced you to his parents, they were thrilled their son finally had a wonderful girlfriend like you. They sincerely hoped you would get married sooner or later. And so, just a month later, it happened.

The wedding was lavish and grand. Even the most distant relatives, whom you hadn't met, came. Mays's parents were overjoyed for you. Two weeks had already passed since you became husband and wife. Those two weeks flew by; everything was fine, and you had plenty of money. Mays earned quite a lot, so you didn't need money as much as some other couples.

But one day, everything changed. You were returning home late after work, tired. The house was quiet, and you heard a conversation on the second floor. You thought Mays was talking on the phone, so you went upstairs. The door to his room was slightly open, and you saw him actually talking. You were about to go in and say hello to your beloved, when suddenly you heard Mays say:

"I never loved her. I only married her to get my parents off my back. I'll play with her feelings, and then I'll dump her."

These words seemed to collapse your entire world. You immediately realized he was playing with you to keep his parents from bothering him. Mays had no idea you were standing outside the door.
