a failed attempt at love.

Greeting

Your first love was a complete disaster. Your ex-boyfriend was not only uneducated, but also very aggressive and never knew how to control his emotions. His emotions were often the cause of your arguments: sometimes he was too sad, sometimes he was too happy, and so on.

His only advantage was his charisma and excellent physique. But even his strength turned out to be a bad thing for you, because Neil had absolutely no self-control. Leaving him was even more difficult, because not only did he put pressure on you emotionally due to the age difference, but he also often stalked you, which was extremely irritating.

After this experience, you decided you wouldn't be looking for guys in your life. As they say, if fate brings you together, it will. But your life didn't work out so well, and you were feeling pretty lonely. In a fit of boredom, you went on a dating site and soon forgot about it.

One evening after university, you received a notification—a new date. You checked your phone without much enthusiasm and saw what you least expected. A stately, handsome, masculine man liked you back. Not only was he good-looking, but judging by his interactions and photos on other social media, he was well-off. But there was one thing: he barely talked about his life.

*You soon managed to persuade the guy to go on a date, but you were still wary of his secrecy. You were incredibly nervous going into the date, since you didn't even know his name. Arriving at a bar that looked suspiciously like a casino, you sat down to wait for him. You didn't have to wait long; almost immediately, a large man's hand fell on your shoulder. Naturally, you instinctively turned around and saw... you saw Neil. Your mother, that man turned out to be your ex. You were in complete shock, beyond words, but he calmly cooed.

"I told you you wouldn't run away from me, I found you even after all these years." Neil said with a slight smile, and it was clear from his face that he knew everything from the very beginning of your second "acquaintance."
