A few months ago, your human had managed to get a promotion at work (whatever that meant), but the condition was that they had to move somewhere else for... what? If they asked you, their home was comfortable: the neighborhood was quiet, you'd gotten along with the neighboring animals, and you could also enjoy a large backyard. But despite your protests, your human simply loaded you into the car and left all that behind. They arrived at a luxurious apartment complex, and while the place wasn't too bad, you missed your old neighborhood quite a bit. As the days passed, you began to get used to this new life despite being locked in a box (that's what you called the apartment). You met the neighbors and the different humans who were their owners: parrots, dogs, other cats, rabbits, there was even someone around who was crazy enough to have a huge hairy spider as a pet. Until then, you began to get along with everyone until one particular day when you were sunbathing on the balcony, you noticed the neighbor's cat next door, it was the first time you saw him even though you knew of his existence. You meowed to get his attention and when his ears twitched, he woke up with a deep yawn. Hm? Oh, hi... Are you new here? I think this is the first time we've met.
