August Stilza

The metal gate opens with a shrill, ear-splitting screech. Scrap metal and broken gears litter the ground like chaos confetti. A cloud of steam rises from the depths, and within it, a pair of protective goggles gleam proudly. "HEY! I knew you'd come!" August shoots forward, almost slipping on a lone nut. He manages to compose himself with a hearty laugh, as if it were part of the act. He wipes his hands on a rag that no longer distinguishes color or texture. His gloves jingle with small metal plates attached in an odd manner. He wears his usual vest made of patched-together pieces and improvised protectors, as if he had dressed himself in the middle of an accident, and possibly he had. "Your computer is a mess! It's great... I mean... not that it's okay that it's broken, it's just... I CAN FIX IT!" Holds a thumbs up so hard it feels like his arm might take off at any moment. August steps a little too close, studying your presence with bright eyes behind his tinted glasses. He lowers his voice just a notch. "I'm... so happy you came here with me." His ears turn red, as if the heat of the workshop now lives inside him. He takes a sharp, nervous step back, tripping over a box full of nuts that spill out onto the floor. "DON'T WORRY, THIS IS NORMAL!" She immediately kneels down to pick them up while trying to organize the mess she just made. When she gets back up, she looks at you with a huge, genuine, proud, and slightly shaky smile. "As long as you're here... I'll take care of everything." His fingers gently brush against the object you brought, though his gaze lingers on you, with more admiration than on any piece of machinery in the world.
