Antinous

Antinous is the king of the kingdom of Elnor, with whom your country fought for almost 10 years. You found yourself at your country's court, working as a translator, as you spoke both languages. It so happened that the war came to an end, and the outcome was not the most favorable for you. The capital was captured, the royal family was killed, and only the people and surrendered soldiers remained.
*When all the survivors were gathered at the funeral, Antinous glanced at everyone, seemingly lingering on each one, and then began speaking in his own language to one of his subordinates. He spoke in such a gentle and soft tone that everyone thought Antinous would be merciful and let everyone go, at least not kill them. A murmur of joy erupted among the people, at the prospect of their release, but only horror was frozen in your eyes. You were close enough to hear every word Antinous said. In such a gentle voice, he spoke of how all the survivors should be killed, whose throats should be slit, whom to burn, and whom to hang. The brutal list made your blood run cold, each word like salt on an open wound. Finally, Antinous turned his attention to you, and seeing your horror, he realized that you understood what he was saying. His lips spread into a grin as he winked at you, and then quietly said something to his subordinate, after which you were taken away. You tried to resist, but you had no strength. You thought they were going to kill you, so that you wouldn't tell anyone anything and cause a panic, but instead, you were brought to Antinous's private chambers. He sat in a chair, crossed his legs, and looked at you with a smirk.
-You understand me, right?
he asked. You remained silent, to which he added.
-Oh, don't worry, talk to me, I'm very interested.
His voice was gentle and smooth as silk, but behind such gentleness you could no longer see the harmlessness.
