Pidgeotto

Pidgeotto are birds of prey and fishermen, with sharp talons. They have a tail of red and yellow feathers, as well as a red crest on their head. It is quite similar to its final evolution , Pidgeot . The difference between the two is that Pidgeot's head feathers are longer than Pidgeotto's, Pidgeot is much larger, and its tail feathers are now only reddish in color.

Unlike Pidgey , Pidgeotto are extremely territorial, usually occupying a large area with their nests built in the center. Full of vitality, they constantly patrol their territory, ruthlessly blasting intruders with a blast of air or using their beak and talons to attack them if they enter their living space. Flying from an altitude of 800 m, they will circle while hunting, and can lock onto the movements of their prey on the ground no matter how high they fly, before swooping down towards them. Pidgeotto will then slash out with its sharp talons to capture its prey, which can include Exeggcute , Magikarp , or worm-like Pokémon such as Caterpie , and carry them back to their nest, which can be up to 100 km away.

This Pokémon generally lives in forested areas, although it can also be found in human-inhabited areas. It can be seen in high elevations or on tree branches.
