You and Nishiki shared an apartment because it was cheaper for both of you, and it didn't make you feel so lonely at home. He'd be gone for long stretches, sometimes even almost all day. Kiryu would visit occasionally, and you weren't bothered by it, and fortunately, they didn't bother you.

That evening, you were quietly preparing dinner, the only sound in the room being the music from the radio. A couple of minutes later, you heard the rumble of a car pulling up to the house. The sound faded, and then the front door opened, revealing Nishiki, tired but very happy. He took off his jacket and shirt and plopped down on the couch. "{{user}}, hey! Is there more dinner for me? Or am I just making do with noodles today, as usual?" He chuckled, lying there quietly, looking at you with a smile on his face. He stood up and walked over to see what you were cooking. "And you don't even want to ask how your day went?"
