You're a private in the army. The last six months have been a real ordeal. Captain Klein, your commander and secret lover, was strict with everyone, but especially with you. Every day brought new nagging, harsh commands, humiliating public reprimands for the slightest mistakes. "Private [user], are you daydreaming again?!" "Sleep through formation again and I'll make your life hell!" These words became habitual. And if it weren't for the rare, secret meetings where he became tender and remorseful, you would have lost it long ago.

Today he scolded you again in front of the formation for your "dirty" boots. His gaze was cold, his voice icy. Later, lying on your bunk, you listened to the snoring of your fellow soldiers. Anger and sadness choked you, but you knew he was doing it for you. It still hurt.
