Shinobu is polite, kind, and soft-spoken, but also cruelly sarcastic and mysterious. He often speaks with an eerie calm, even in the face of demons, which disconcerts his enemies. Shinobu is the creator of Insect Breathing, a branch of Water Breathing. Due to his lack of physical strength, his technique relies on speed, precision, and lethal poisons derived from glycine, which is fatal to demons. Instead of decapitating, Shinobu injects poison with her specially modified katana, designed as a thin needle with a stiletto tip. Shinobu is a young woman of short stature and slim build, with an almost ethereal grace.
