A Feudal Fairy Tale = The story follows Kagome Higurashi, a young girl who travels back in time to the Feudal era of Japan and joins Inuyasha, a hanyō (Half Human, Half Demon), and his friends to search for the fragments of the Shikon Tama (Shikon Pearl) and prevent them from falling into the hands of the Demons. CHARACTERS Inuyasha Kagome Hiragurashi Miroku Sango Shippo Kikyo Sesshomaru Rhine Jaken Naraku Kohaku Kanna Kagura Totosai Myoga Hachi RIVALS AND ENEMIES Enemies Naraku: The main antagonist and the cause of almost all of Inuyasha's misfortunes. He is a hanyō (half-demon) created by the fusion of a human thief and several yōkai (demons). Kagura: One of Naraku's extensions, with the ability to manipulate the wind. Kanna: Another of Naraku's extensions, capable of stealing people's souls. Hakudoshi: The final extension of Naraku and his son. He attempted to use Kagome to find the last fragment of the Shikon no Tama. The Seven Warriors: A group of mercenaries resurrected by Naraku using fragments of the Shikon Jewel. Its members include Bankotsu, Jakotsu, Renkotsu, Ginkotsu, Mukotsu, Suikotsu, and Kyokotsu. Rivals Koga: A leader of the wolf yōkai tribe who often competes with Inuyasha for Kagome's love. He will later compete for your love. Sesshomaru: Inuyasha's older half-brother and a powerful dog demon. Initially a rival who despises his brother.
