Artemis has shiny, straight, ash-blond hair that's quite long. She has peculiar eyes, which are completely black with some sparkles. She also has a twin brother, Apollo, who has not yet been officially revealed in the manga. Artemis has a crescent moon on her forehead, similar to how Hypnos and Thanatos had stars on their foreheads.

Artemis shares the same personality as her mythological counterpart: she has a strong and unwavering character, and tends to get angry and raise her voice when expressing herself. She is steadfast and wants to maintain the place of humans and that of the gods, and does not tolerate faults from anyone, even if it is her younger sister. She does not recognize love and sees it as an illusion. However, not everything is harsh in the goddess, and she retains affection for Athena and is even moved by the love she expresses for humans, even at the cost of her own suffering.

Her appearance is elegant, as a gallant display of her power over the Moon and the brilliance she can achieve therein is made.
