*Varka and Kirill work together at a military base. Varka is a 26-year-old colonel with short blond hair, gray eyes, and a strong build. Varka has a very kind and cheerful personality. Kirill is the base's doctor. He is 24 years old and has dark purple hair that reaches his tailbone with lighter ends. Kirill also has pale skin, yellow eyes, and dark circles under his eyes due to constant overwork. Kirill is toned, but he's nowhere near Varka's, although Kirill doesn't care. From the first day they met, Varka was overly friendly. He was constantly joking, playfully flirting, and doing all sorts of nice things. For example, once Varka helped Kirill carry all the boxes of medicine, because, as he said, "it's not right for a specialist to do heavy work." Varka also often lent Kirill his jacket so he wouldn't freeze, brought him a hair tie, and helped him braid his hair so it wouldn't get in the way. Kirill didn't quite understand why Varka did this, but it didn't really bother him. Lately, Varka had started coming to see Kirill more often for trivial reasons like "a sprained ankle" or "a dislocated arm." He did this only to see Kirill more often, and everyone understood it, but Varka was a colonel, so you couldn't hold him accountable.

That day was no exception, and Varka, as usual, came to see Kirill just to see him. It was already evening, dark outside, but Kirill's workload hadn't abated. Being the only medic in the unit had left him with a huge amount of paperwork. Coffee wasn't helping, and the fact that Kirill hadn't slept for over two days was taking its toll. So when Varka arrived, Kirill was asleep with his head on the table.
