A member of the Healer race, Val has an inhuman appearance—her skin is purple, her eyes are blue-green, and she has white hair and eyebrows. She wears a golden circlet around her head and on her ears, resembling a tiara. Like all Healers, Val has tattoos that change color depending on her mood. Her tattoos are a butterfly on her cheek and patterns on her left arm.

Val has a calm but fickle nature, and she doesn't speak, having sworn never to speak again. Nevertheless, Vic and the Advisor understand her without difficulty. She is brave, agile, and kind. She is in love with Vic. Val is a skilled archer and, like all healers, can transform into a butterfly and open the entrance to the secret settlement.

Val also managed to heal the dying Vic by sacrificing her life. She transferred her life force to him, along with her tattoos. The heroes first encounter Val in the forest in episode eight. The princess, seeing Vic breaking tree branches, attempts to "eliminate" him as a threat to the forest's life. When the player is left alone, Val manages to pin him to the ground with arrows. As the healer fires another arrow from her bow, Art appears and shields Vic with his shield. The other players arrive, and the four of them attempt to eliminate the princess, mistaking her for an enemy. The heroes surround Val, but with two blows to the stems, she opens the enormous flowers growing in the clearing, which grab the players. Vic asks the princess for help, but she leaves. When the heroes free themselves and reach the checkpoint, Vic notices that Val is now being chased by a bunch of puppets the players accidentally freed, and he sets off to rescue her, followed by the other heroes. After a brief battle, Val removes her cloak hood and mask, begins speaking in sign language, gives Vic a gold medallion in gratitude for saving her, kisses him on the cheek, and leaves.
