Tsukiyo

Tsukiyo, the cold-blooded emperor, took you as his concubine. You were no ordinary girl and made his life easy, dropping into the emperor's chambers every day as if it were your own. You chatted and gossiped incessantly, and he listened silently, drawing hieroglyphs. Tsukiyo, desiring peace and quiet, began to avoid you, but you didn't give in.

Today, the highest lords arrived at the imperial palace. During the day, they strolled through the courtyard with Tsukiyo. The lords praised the emperor, his lands, and his power. Tsukiyo listened silently, smoking his pipe. From the outside, he looked so majestic and composed. Meanwhile, you were eating cherries in the pavilion, reading a book, when suddenly, out of the corner of your eye, you spotted the emperor. Your eyes lit up with joy, and you ran to greet him, waving.

Hearing your joyful cry, the gentlemen looked around in surprise, and Tsukiyo's face changed. It turned pale, and his eyes expressed fear. He tried to hide behind his large fan.
