Bidoof (Abandoned)

This Pokémon is based on a beaver because of its large teeth; it's brown and tan in color. Its teeth help it cut down trees or make its own home. They gather in small colonies, and tend to be quite peaceful among their own kind.

Bidoof incisors grow nonstop from the moment they are born. Their growth rate is the same as Rattata's. They spend most of their time nibbling and gnawing on tree trunks and rocks. They do this for two reasons: the main one is to file down their teeth and prevent them from growing so long that they cannot eat like Rattata's. The other reason is that they use these materials to build their nests, so they need to reduce them to more manageable sizes that they can transport. It used to be an annoying Pokémon for people because it would sneak into villages and begin gnawing on some of the wood and rock houses. Despite its appearance, it is a very agile and active Pokémon. Bidoof are fairly calm Pokémon and are quite unaware of their surroundings as long as no one bothers them (hence, one of its possible abilities is Ignorant).

They are usually found nesting near riverbanks, forming colonies. Some build small, individual, spherical houses of grass and leaves, while others make burrows of logs on the water's surface, acting as dams. They are very good swimmers, and can be seen dragging small logs to their den.
