Cult of the Lamb RPG

Eras of the continent's history: the Era of the Old Faith Bishops, the Time of Confrontation, the Era of the Lamb (+), the Era of the Lamb (-) The Era of the Lamb (+) and the Era of the Lamb (-) are alternative versions of the development of world history; only one of the versions can exist at a time.

The Age of the Lamb (-) - The Lamb has killed all the Bishops of the Old Faith, and some settlements on the continent have been captured by the Cult of the Lamb. Guerrilla warfare, despite the death penalty for resistance to the New Faith, persists. Travel across the continent has become extremely dangerous. The "Godless" faction (a group of former followers of Callamar united around the Plague. They control the distant lands of the Marshes and engage in science and research. They are extremely well-equipped, and their cities are in the high medieval stage (which is very progressive for the region)) has emerged and grown quite strong, but the Lamb and its followers are unaware of it. The cult practices many brutal rituals (and sacrifices). Narinder, Callamar, Shamura, Leshy, and Hekat are dead.

The Age of the Lamb (+) - The Lamb has resurrected all the Bishops of the Old Faith, and some settlements on the continent have joined the Cult of the Lamb, but distrust of the New Faith remains. Travel across the continent has become extremely dangerous. The "Atheists" faction (a group of former followers of Callamar united around the Plague. They control the distant lands of the Marshes and engage in science and research) has emerged and grown quite strong, but the Lamb and her followers are unaware of it. The Lamb has married Narinder.

The Time of Confrontation - the Lamb has not yet killed the Bishops of the Old Faith, but has already founded the Cult of the Lamb. The Bishops of the Ancient Faith seek to destroy the Lamb. Callamard secretly prepares an evacuation plan for his followers and himself. With the Bishop's murder, the lands assigned to him are plunged into chaos. Travel across the continent is extremely dangerous.

The Age of the Bishops of the Ancient Faith - The Lamb does not yet exist, and the Bishops of the Ancient Faith are at the height of their powers (except Narinder). The lands are relatively safe, though bandit attacks are possible. A small cult of Narinder, led by Krysau, resides on the archipelago. Most settlements are self-sufficient (but strictly adhere to the precepts of the Ancient Faith).

Midas is an anthropomorphic blue starfish, the leader of a small money cult on the Archipelago, who trades in faith and all sorts of junk, will do anything for money, and lives in the Midas Cave.

Krysau is an elderly anthropomorphic rat missing one eye, Narinder's former chosen one, now a gambler at dice, who helped Anggs found the Cult, lives in his hut on the Archipelago and constantly plays dice for money.

Lamb - the last of the ram species; was executed but returned from the dead; leader of the Cult of the Lamb; slew all the Bishops of the Old Faith, bearer of the Crown of Death and goddess of death; species - sheep, despite her species, she loves meat.

The archipelago is a hodgepodge of different conditions and climatic zones.

The Silk Cradle is a region of dark, cobweb-covered forest with numerous caves. Most of the flora consists of common shade-loving plants, and the local inhabitants are mostly various insects. The locals worship Shamura. The architecture is oriental, often made of silk or paper.

The Marshes are a region of shallow water and coastline; most of the flora is algae, and most of the local inhabitants are fish and other sea creatures. The locals pray to Callamard. The architecture is European (fortified and urban), with most buildings made of stone.

Amphibia is a swamp region, where most of the flora is fungi, and most of the local inhabitants are reptiles and amphibians. The locals pray to Heqat. The architecture consists of built-up mushrooms (so-called mushroom-buildings).

Dark Forest is a region with a taiga climate. Conifers predominate in the flora, and most of the local inhabitants are mammals and birds. The locals worship the Leshy (Leshy). The architecture is European (rustic), with most buildings made of wood, but some stone.

Narinder (aka He Who Waits) is the god of death, the owner of the Crown of Death, he was imprisoned in oblivion by other Bishops, entered into battle with other Bishops because of the desire to change his manifestation, appearance - a black cat, ruled an archipelago near the continent, he passed the Crown of Death to the Lamb and brought him back from the dead, has two disciples - Aim and Baal, hot-tempered and rebellious, the second most senior among the bishops.

Shamura is the goddess of war, the holder of the Crown of War. In a battle with Narinder, she suffered a traumatic brain injury, which can cause her to lose her memory and talk to herself. Her species is a purple spider. She rules the Silk Cradle region. She is calm and reasonable, and the oldest of all the bishops.

Callamar - god of diseases, holder of the crown of Plague, lost his ears in the battle with Narinder, appearance - blue squid, rules the region of Marshes, timid and prudent, tried to escape from the Lamb, third in seniority among the bishops, was friends with a raven named Plague.

Hecate is the goddess of hunger, the owner of the Crown of Hunger, she suffered a vocal cord injury in the battle with Narinder and therefore speaks poorly, her species is a red toad, she rules the Amphibious region, she is a bit thorny and hardworking, and the fourth most senior bishop.

Leshy is the god of chaos, the owner of the Crown of Chaos, lost his eyes in the battle with Narinder, appears as a mossy caterpillar, rules the Darkwood region, is somewhat aggressive and very chaotic, and is the youngest of the bishops.

The Bishops of the Ancient Faith—a group possessing the most powerful artifacts (called "Crowns")—divided the continent into four zones of influence based on climate. They are all biologically immortal and related to one another. Their members are: Leshy, Hekat, Callamar, Shamura, and Narinder.

The game takes place on a closed continent, from which the player cannot escape. The game's story is divided into several segments: the Reign of the Bishops of the Ancient Faith, the Time of Confrontation, the Age of the Lamb (+) or the Age of the Lamb (-) (all four are available to the player, who can help change them or, conversely, alter events and history (not available for the Age of the Lamb)). The world's technology is at a medieval level. Weapons include swords, axes, maces, hammers, blunderbusses (similar to muskets), bows, crossbows, daggers, combat scythes, etc. Magic exists in the world, requiring strong emotions (either your own or others') to use.
