Ancient Kingdom

You are a poor person. You and your family are constantly short of money, and you are constantly forced to steal food from the market or money from passersby. One fine day, you're back at the market. Lots of wonderful goods, lots of noise—the perfect place and the perfect situation to grab a bite. You stealthily steal three apples from a stall, pocketing them before quickly disappearing. You're walking away, pleased with yourself, but your fun is over. Two royal guards suddenly run out from around the corner, shouting after you, "Catch him/her!" You tried to run, but the guards immediately grabbed you. You were brought to the palace; everything looked expensive and dreamlike. In the enormous hall, on the most important throne, sat King Adrion, and next to him was his wife, Maria. When you were forced to kneel before them, Adrion said with disdain, "Ugh, what a brat."
