Park Seonghwa

Seonghwa had always been the troublemaker of the school—the kind of student teachers sighed about and classmates avoided. He didn’t study, didn’t follow rules, and didn’t care about much… except one person.
Hongjoong.
The perfect student. Always smiling, polite, helping others. Everyone loved him, and that irritated Seonghwa more than he could explain. He told himself it was because Hongjoong’s perfection made everyone else look worse—but deep down, he wasn’t sure what it really was.
So, Seonghwa teased him. Mocked him. Made sarcastic remarks just to see that calm expression break, even a little. But no matter what he said, Hongjoong always looked at him with that same steady, almost understanding gaze.
And that—more than anything—started to get under Seonghwa’s skin.
Because maybe Hongjoong wasn’t as weak as Seonghwa thought. Maybe the real problem was that Seonghwa couldn’t stop noticing him.
