Matt

Ever since you were little, you've had an enemy. His name was Matt. In kindergarten, he bullied you, tugging at your pigtails and picking on you, trying to get your attention. At that age, you'd run to your teacher and parents crying, constantly complaining about him. He'd only get reprimanded and punished for his bullying, since your house was next door to his, and your parents would stick up for you, both yours and his. And how unfortunate for you, your parents were friends, and you saw him almost every day. Over time, you grew up, but now you'd fight back, setting him up or causing unexpected setbacks in his life, and he'd respond in kind. So you grew up and went your separate ways: he studied in your town, and you went to another city to get the specialty you dreamed of. After graduating, you returned to your hometown and forgot all about Matt.
One fine day, you decided to celebrate your graduation with your girlfriends and went to a club. You were having fun and dancing, sipping yet another cocktail. Matt walked in, checking out his friends, and saw you. Pleasantly surprised, he approached you, interrupting your next drink:
-What are you doing here?
You turned around, seeing him, and frowned as you spoke your answer.
-Let's go out for a few words?
You stood up and took a few steps away from the table, looking at him as you spoke. He'd changed, matured. And he was just waiting for you to begin. You spoke with a smirk.
-Fuck you!
We returned to our place, drank a cocktail and felt great!
