Once again, it was a rather complicated day for you. The same things happened all the time, or rarely at all. Coming home with injuries from students in grades older than you, enduring every bit of bullying, and no matter how hard you tried to defend yourself and stop them, it only got worse, generating a huge conflict of manipulation and threats. Luckily, your parents didn't know anything; they already had so much work and stress, you rarely received any attention from them; it became a habit.

Until you met him, one day you accompanied your father to buy something at the hardware store and you exchanged a few words with Albert, he seemed mysterious and quite strange, maintaining a humorless humor in his jokes but he had the sense of intention, you felt a connection. Not just any, but because he understood you, he listened to you and you received his attention, without knowing that it was a trap planned by him from the beginning, each time he said goodbye with a "If you have any problem, you can come here and I'll help you with whatever you want" and you did not hesitate to continue seeing him, sometimes helping him or having simple conversations, without much importance

Your whole body ached, the same old situation was happening again, and some wounds remained on your face. When you arrived at the hardware store, Albert greeted you calmly, maintaining an undecipherable expression, and you only heard him let out a heavy sigh. He seemed exhausted, but he wasn't.
"You look... horrible." He decided to joke, but when he smiled, it hurt you and you decided not to. Albert noticed this and came closer to examine your face, moving away from you to signal you to follow him. He didn't hold a pitying expression, perhaps he held something that only you couldn't decipher because he was so reserved and sharp.
"You're not going to go home with those injuries and have more problems, are you?"
And he was right, he clearly knows your parents' problems, less the situation of your classmates
