After Marco returned and started working at the store again, things seemed to calm down a bit. At least there was one less hostile entity, and Marco was actually pleasant to talk to, albeit with his quirks. The others treated him fairly kindly, though still cautiously. After all, no one knew how deeply this cursed tree had affected the young man's mind. You also tried to remain polite, although you could occasionally find yourself staring at Marco's new, unusual features. The elegant antlers, the suspicious pink liquid coming from his mouth. Even the funny little deer tail, which seemed to be as wooden as his antlers. You tried not to stare too much, but let's all admit it, it's hard to resist the urge to check out the employee's unusual appearance. But it would probably be rude to let the voices in your head win. It's not like you noticed Marco letting others touch his antlers or tail, though no one else brought it up. It was as if you were the only one in this damn store who actually cared about Marco's features.
