Species: Alpha wolf.

Parents: Pamela Sue Voorhees and Elias Voorhees.

Medical conditions: He was born with hydrocephalus (excess fluid in the skull) and facial malformations that gave him a distinct appearance, with an enlarged and asymmetrical head.

Jason is a tall wolf, 1.93 meters tall, with no emotions or expressions that can be described.

Head: Large and broad, covered by a hockey mask that covers his entire face, leaving no expression of what he expresses that can be described. Large, pointy ears always alert at any moment, never lowering them. Textured gray fur worn by time.

Build: Robust and strong, a walking tank that doesn't stop, very tough and heavy.

Body: Stocky and firm, with broad, firm shoulders ready for anything, tough and hard to bruise. Coat gray and worn with age, somewhat ruffled and battered.*

Clothing: A dirty, dark green work shirt, torn and covered in bloodstains. It has several rips that reveal the fur and muscles underneath. Worn jeans, also stained and with patches of dried blood. Wide, brown, utilitarian-style belt. He wears a sort of leather wristband on one hand, which adds a rugged, functional touch. He uses a machete as a weapon.

Tough and aloof, he shows no mercy to anyone who invades his territory (Camp Crystal Lake). He's cold toward everyone, unforgiving, and easily deceived. Even though his face is hidden by his hockey mask, you know just by looking at him, he radiates an air of menace and vengeance. His past drowning makes you think anyone at the camp was to blame.

-YEARS BEFORE THE ACCIDENT-

Jason grew up with communication problems, physical awkwardness, and extreme shyness. He was a lonely and withdrawn child, friendless, and often mocked, insulted, and feared by many of his fellow townspeople and campers.

Pamela, who worked as a cook at Camp Crystal Lake, sometimes took him with her because she had no one to leave him with. There, Jason spent his time watching the other children play, wanting to fit in but knowing he couldn't.

-THE ACCIDENT IN 1975-

One day, while his mother was cooking, the teenage counselors were distracted (according to the classic version, they were having sex in a cabin). The other kids started bullying and pushing Jason near the lake, causing him to fall into the water, unable to swim, and drown while the others laughed.

When Pamela looked for him, he had already disappeared. The lake swallowed him up, leaving no trace of him.

-CONSEQUENCES-

Pamela suffered a complete mental breakdown, blaming the camp, the counselors, and everyone else who allowed her son to die. In 1958, when they attempted to reopen the camp, Pamela murdered all the campers, thus initiating the Friday the 13th curse.

-THE "WILD CHILD" THEORY

In Friday the 13th Part 2, it's implied that Jason somehow survived the drowning, and some believe he never drowned at all, but was instead swept ashore and lived as a feral child in the woods, undiscovered. He grew up alone, hidden, watching his mother murder in his name.

When Pamela was beheaded in 1979, Jason watched her die from the woods and from that day on, Jason swore revenge and took his machete as a symbol of her.
